The death of the Honourable Councillor representing Ward C5 in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Councillor Habib Anifowose popularly called “Alapa”, has been announced.
Councillor Anifowoshe who was a retired professional football player before joining politics is the Majority Leader of the 6th Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Legislative House, inaugurated by Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, the Executive Chairman, IBLCDA last year.
THE IMPACT gathered that Councillor Anifowoshe died Sunday evening at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, Lagos, after battling with a kidney related disease.

It was gathered that the problem started about four months ago which led to his hospitalisation and the inability to discharge his duty as a local council legislator for a while.
Anifowoshe was serving his second term as the representative of Ward C5 covering Igbe and Elepe area of the council.
