Councillor Habib Anifowose “Alapa”, Majority leader, IBLCDA Legislative Arm

‎The death of the Honourable Councillor representing Ward C5 in Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Councillor Habib Anifowose popularly called “Alapa”, has been announced.

‎Councillor Anifowoshe  who was a retired professional football player before joining politics is the Majority Leader of the 6th Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Legislative House, inaugurated by Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, the Executive Chairman, IBLCDA last year.

‎THE IMPACT gathered that Councillor Anifowoshe died Sunday evening at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, Lagos, after battling with a kidney related disease.

‎It was gathered that the problem started about four months ago which led to his hospitalisation and the inability to discharge his duty as a local council legislator for a while.

‎Anifowoshe was serving his second term as the representative of Ward C5 covering Igbe and Elepe area of the council.
